By far this' my favourite work... I did this one as a birthday gift for my grandpa. The ideia was to make his favourite orchid in coloured pencil, since it's flowers last only 2 to 3 days. The model plant is again in bloom with more flowers this time.

The cool thing about this plant is that when my grandpa was young they had one of this orchids growing naturaly on his backyard. The flowers are very big (10 cm) and the lip is a complex structure that has 2 fang-like projections. For this reason this plant was called, orquídea "boca-de-cobra" (snake's mouth orchird) by my family.
